RCA 55" HDTV

TV on and while watching "signal no found" appeared then a loud bang (sounded like a shot gun) sounded and the TV went out.  Turning the TV on, the light flashes and makes a buzzing sound.  Anyone have any idea what may have blown in this 2-3 years young TV?

Sometimes a part can go shorted, and an over voltage occures somewheres thus causing another part to blow. This can be anywhere from in the power supply to any of the other boards.

The set would have to be serviced to determine the cause and what was damaged. Most likely there will be the need to change some boards. Most of the service is done by a combination of board replacement and some component replacement depending on the exact type of fault.
