OK, if you have a Password, why are you entering a PIN? They are two different ways of authenticating you as a valid user. You should not select the option to use a PIN. Use your Password or Network Key.

Uninstall the belkin router monitor from the control panel ...
it will not happen again

And by uninstalling this ... nothing wrong will happen to the router or the computer

You need to contact your isp for DNS, see:

To configure your router, open your web browser. Type the default IP address ( into the Location field of your browser and press the Enter key. A Login screen will appear. Use the below to log into your router.

The default user name is admin
The default password is zoomadsl

You click on the icon labeled Wireless at the top of the screen.

Set the Wireless status drop down menu to Enable
The SSID will be set to zoom by default. You probably want to change that since everybody will know this type of network.

You can Hide the SSID if you would like by choosing True on the Hide SSID option. This will make it harder for people to know how to connect to your network. Just remember that you will not be able to see this as well.

Under the Encryption you will need to pick your Encryption type. If you pick WEP-64 bit then you will want to click the Passphrase box and place your passphrase and have it generate a random key. If the Default Key is set to 1 then you would use the Key1 key. Make sure you click on the Save Changes so that it keeps these setting.s

Hope that helps!

i Can't connect my ipod to my wifi wich has a netgear router

Passwords are always case sensitive, meaning if a capital letter was used to set up the password, a capital letter is required when entering the password.

There are very rarely passwords with spaces.

Special characters at the end of a password are often not recognized by your brain as being part of the password but must be typed in (common with hotspot passwords).

Special characters (like: [email protected]#$%^&*()+=) must be typed in with the shift key held on the keyboard.
