My Fisher Paykel 8kg Intuative Washing Machine doesn't work on the Eco Wash cycle

On the Eco Smart cycle the water is meant to partly fill and then drain and divert back into the bowl ... however my new machine simply empties the machine straight down the drain with all the detergent while still trying to fill .... so I have to program to use traditional wash ... I set up the drain hose as per the operators manual ... any thoughts or solutions appreciated ... cheers Tosh

rotary position sensor fault. underneath the machine. Unbolt plastic cover with 16mm socket all of the plastic will come off. Undo four 10mm bolts around shaft. Pull off the big round thingy with cooper wire on it carefully. The purple wire is connected to the sensor which looks like a computer card and fits between the copper things ,pull up the sensor carefully and unpug the connection clean off the blue stuff on contacts, use electrical spray cleaner. Put back together in reverse.

Your eco Diverter valve has failed. this is a wax solenoid and is a common part to fail, it is located under the machine in the drain hose next to the drain pump.

Check out the below link for a service manual

sure lean washer back against wall diverter valve on bottom rear next to pump probably just clogged with lint

Press "end of cycle" for 5 seconds or more to clear the screen. Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped.

I BELIEVE THAT IS A ROTOR SENSOR ERROR
REPLACE THE ROTOR SENSOR
