I have a Kenmore stackable washing machine from circa 1987 or so, we need to know how to take it apartment. In other words remove the dryer from the washer. The washing machine has died and we are expecting replacement and cannot get it through our door stacked. We need to take it apart to get it through.

first of all. comming from a Sears Technician.. (don't yell) -- the delivery drivers only know about delivering stuff. they dont know too much,
if the two are the same size they can be stacked.
sometimes have to rig something up
and yes, for that model the top is removed, clips go on the rear and screwed at the front.
in some areas it is sold seperatly as a stacking kit

wood block and rubber mallet.

The model that you provide is incomplete. However, if the washer loads from the top, they cannot be separated. If it loads from the front, they can.

hi..
When your dryer drum isn’t turning anymore, it’s usually a broken belt. Tearing the dryer apart is usually straight-forward enough but stringing the new belt on the motor and idler pulley can be tricky. The Complete Encyclopedia of Dryer Belt Configurations shows the belt configurations for almost every dryer brand you can think of.

this will fix ur problem..
thank u rate me

stackables are convenient..small but work great.....youll find what you need at lowes or home depot
