My Infinity front load will only fill on the heavy and bulk settings. If i put it on normal and touch the water temp button in other than these two modes, all the temp lights come on in a line and then go off. I cannot set temp and or wash type either with the round dial in any mode other than heavy or bulky.

Turn the machine off then unplug it for at least 5 minutes then plug it it back. Turn on the washer then press any button and wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the most recent failure code will appear on the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the error code, if there's any, for further troubleshooting and repair advice.

I fixed this myself and it only took about 5 minutes. The problem is the door latch needs to be reset, which requires unplugging it's three electrical connections. This has to be done inside the washer outer seal, but it is easy to get to. First remove the outer ring that holds the seal on. Next remove only the side of the seal closest to the door latch (again only the outer seal needs to be undone). With this done remove the two screws holding the door latch in place (inside). Remove the latch, unplug the three connectors, plug them back in then reassemble everything. When all is back in place hit "cancel" and it should be good to go.

I too had the same problem, I closed the soap tray and a magnet popped out and got stuck to the door. Same problem with it acting like it was going to start and then beeped. This is where the magnet goes, just stick it back in, its held in with pressure (barely) :)

I took the whole control panel off to locate the magnetic reed switch, then just reverse engineered where the magnet is supposed to go on the soap drawer.

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.

First of all check the motor.most probably its got weak so its spinning when empty but not spinning when there are clothes in the machine. It doesn't spin If your washer won't spin, check these:

It doesn't pump or spin
It pumps, but doesn't spin
It spins only with the lid closed
It doesn't pump or spin If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
